N H Weld Fab Ltd specialises in the design of metal beds, chairs, metal garden furniture and other metal furniture.
Here are just a few examples of recent work which we have commissioned. As all our products are handmade we can design a piece of metal furniture together with our customer so that they recieve something which is unique for their home or garden.
Some of our steel work has included some more unusual designs such as the steel tent (which was finished in such a way that it appeared to be canvas!), metal igloo (which comprised a series of overlapping panels to simulate blocks of ice!) and an ornate metal bridge (which appeared to be made from bamboo!).
Many of our commissions are of a very simple, 'clean cut' design to suit a hi-tech modern home.
Designs such as Rene Macintosh style furniture are very popular in both modern and period properties. This style of furniture would look very stylish in steel.
We have manufactured various 'one-off' metal Weather Vanes including the traditional weather cock, and the more unusual hedgehog design, moon and sun design and many others.
The photo below is an example of our metal garden furniture designed in-house. The design proved to be very popular and we were commissioned to make two metal benches and a metal gazebo for a communial garden in Guildhall Street, Bury St Edmunds as part of the annual Bury in Bloom event.
